E3 2011: Must-See Videos
DEAD ISLAND
First off, if you haven’t seen the reveal trailer from a few months back, go watch that first. It’s only three minutes long and totally worth it.
For E3, Deep Silver and Techland released a new trailer giving more of a taste of gameplay as well as some scenes from before everything goes to hell.
DRIVER: SAN FRANCISCO
I have no idea if this new Driver game will be any good, but I can say one thing: this trailer makes me want to play it.
DUST 514
In an interesting twist, this PS3-exclusive FPS from CCP Games will in fact be dynamically connected to the world of Eve Online, with overlapping economies and contracts that carry from one game to the other. And it looks damned sharp.
THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM
One of the most talked-about games at E3, Bethesda’s Skyrim presence consisted of a massive demo that touched on numerous aspects of the game. Here’s the G4 demo, narrated by Bethesda’s Todd Howard. It’s hard to watch this and not want to play it for yourself.
FAR CRY 3
Revealed at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, anyone who was a fan of the Far Cry or Crysis games will want to check out this 8-minute gameplay clip.
FINAL FANTASY XIII-2
Even if you’re not a fan of the games, you can always count on the Final Fantasy series for amazing cinematics, and the new trailer for FF XIII2 was no exception.
