The five notable songs that won&#8217;t make the trek:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AC\/DC: Let There Be Rock<\/li>\n<li>Journey: Any Way You Want It<\/li>\n<li>Metallica: Battery<\/li>\n<li>Red Hot Chili Peppers: Give It Away<\/li>\n<li>Soundgarden: Spoonman<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The other nine songs were from the family of Harmonix bands (Anarchy Club, Breaking Wheel, Speck, etc), and will be released down the road as part of a free DLC pack.<\/p>\n<p>Because of their recent inclusion in the <em>Guitar Hero<\/em> franchise, it&#8217;s not hard to figure out why the Metallica and Soundgarden songs weren&#8217;t re-licensed. The Red Hot Chili Peppers omission is an odd one, since the entirety of <em>Blood Sugar Sex Magik<\/em> was released as full album DLC for the <em>Rock Band<\/em> games back in 2008. I guess we&#8217;ll have to be satisfied being one song short.<\/p>\n<p>As for Journey, dare we hope that maybe we&#8217;ll see a <em>Greatest Hits<\/em> DLC release someday?
