{"id":158,"date":"2009-03-29T21:20:37","date_gmt":"2009-03-30T04:20:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bytica.com\/?p=158"},"modified":"2009-03-29T21:21:32","modified_gmt":"2009-03-30T04:21:32","slug":"gh-metallica-expert-bass-finished","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bytica.com\/?p=158","title":{"rendered":"GH Metallica: Expert Bass Finished"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><br \/>\nYOU KNOW, I FORGOT how much more fun the new &#8220;open notes&#8221; make bass guitar in <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Guitar Hero<\/em>. <span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>I&#8217;m so used to <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">Rock Band<\/em>&#8216;s bass being the boring stepbrother of the guitar, and I played so little of <em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">GHWT<\/em>, that it took me a little while to regain the hang of strumming without holding any fret buttons down. &#8220;Disposable Heroes&#8221; may not have an insane solo on bass, but the open notes help crazy a uniquely crazy note chart that feels like way more than an easy version of the guitar chart. If you&#8217;re playing GHM, don&#8217;t just dismiss the bass campaign as a waste of time &#8212; you might actually find it more fun than the guitar charts. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">So all I have left now is the drum campaign, and then multiplayer and full band achievements, which I&#8217;ll be getting to Monday before posting my review.
